Statistically speaking, with the sheer number of planets in our galaxy, much less the whole universe, how could it be possible that life ONLY exists on this little rock? I believe that the conditions must be right, on more than one planet, in the whole universe, to produce life. Intelligent life, such as dolphins and primates (including humans), is going to be much more rare... but I believe that it must have happened at least one more time, other than us.

Know: There are plans for about 7 trillion planets.
Believe: About 2/3 accomplished.
Know: Each planet has a destiny of perfection as do all individuals thereon, provided they do not exhaust mercy at some point.

After this is complete, God has plans for something even better, using even more planets and stars.

There is one inhabited planet very close to us.

There is incredible diversity, just like you see for plants and flowers here.

I'm completely accepting to people who don't believe there is life outside earth, but I believe there is. For one thing, there's proof I think that one one of the moons on Jupiter there are microscopic living organisms. Life outside earth doesn't necessarily mean super-advanced aliens like on TV. Also, because the universe goes on forever, it seems highly unlikely that we are the only forms of life.

Yes. Faith. Faith in numbers, that is.

The galaxy (not to mention the rest of the universe) is just too big not to have life. There are 300 billion stars in the Milky way, if even 1 in a billion have life around them, that's 300 or so. But then the closest one is about 1000 or 2000 light-years away ...

The Drake Equation was developed by Frank Drake in 1961 as a way to focus on the factors which determine how many intelligent, communicating civilizations there are in our galaxy.

It has been proven that yes, there is indeed extraterrestrial life. Multiple samples of bacterial life forms have been found on Mars. However, if you are talking about intelligent life, then there is no proof as of yet as to it's existance. Personally, however, I believe that there is intelligent life outside of our solar system.
