What causes a person to act the way they do and how can others help them?

i am writing an essay and was wondering why a person may act in a bad way, weither they physically mentally or sexually abuse someone or steal ect .. i know some reasons are for example.,, past experiences, media (might get the message that it is ok to be violent for example)and what else,,and how can u can help!!

Genetics, upbringing, serious head injuries, environment, unexpressed rage, physical, psychological and/or mental abuse, deprivation of life's basics...

wondering is a good thing, when we don't know the answers to questions that afflict us. Though I can also say, asking for new answers to things that affect us, from others is a humanistic thing to do?, as you see there are only two answers to your question, although I'm sure you know there are many more answers to the same question. what will apply in this case, to my knowledge is a deep analysis of the situation, that you see many peoples or in this Country or in the world, are experiencing to day because of the lost of Humanism. Ward, dehumanize peoples, and has destroy much of the reality of the one only race God create in earth. and that is exactly the Human race. Look inside your self, and see what, and if you are missing something, and if you are not missing anything, try to see where are you more volatile and help your self not to fall as others has already experience, because of careless of their own conditions that make our selves Humans. I do believed that there is A God or perhaps many, and they are all for the good of Humanity. Not matter if someone else thinks or try to said different. Jesus is God, just like the Father, because that is they way the Father wanted from the beginnings of time and forever. God bless you.

Past experiences and media like you said. But it's prompted by need or strong want. Past experiences and media only allow a person to think it's okay, not make them want to do something.

This world is combine of different people with different personalities, different childhood experiences, different parenting & different lifestyles.
When I come across someone who is behaving bad. I don't attack them about their behavior. I asked them nicely, in a soft tone, whats the problem and how can I help, and that helps them to calm down a bit and want to talk. Then of course they are going to spill their guts to you. You just sit and listen & nodd when necessary. Then I try to find something negative in my past and talk to them about what happen to me and how I overcame it.
People who behave badly just want someone to talk to and listen to them.
Remember, your tone of voice has to be soft and nice.
