a male friend of mine only calls me 1 time a week even though he says he cares about our friendship i dont feel like he does.we discussed it and he blames it on work which i know is just an excuse because it only takes 5 secs to make a call.i really didnt want to cut him loose being that we just recently reconnected but its insulting to see he doesnt care.so should i just cut all contact with the jerk?

absolutely yes. i had the same problem with a guy . i cut him lose so fast that he is asking me now what he did wrong. yeah right . it is but to be alone than have a half man

I have friends that im lucky if i hear from more than once a month never mind a week. I havent cut them out of my life, if hes a good friend and hes done good things for you then i say kep him but if your friendship isnt really that important then do what you feel is right. My best friend from school only stays a few minutes away from me and i still only get to see him once every fortnight because were both so hectic he has a full time job and i have a full time kid, at the end of the day the decisions yours but i think you should tell your friend how you feel and give him another chance and then decide whats happening xx

yes, i would some guys can be so mean. you have tried your best to make this work. you deserve better than this. find someone who will love you for who you are and will support and stand behind you through the good times and the bad. move on and forget the jerk. it is his loss not yours and he is not worth your time. hope this helps. good luck.

that all depends on if you really want to remain friends with him... if you do then dont cut him off.... if you really dont care if you have him as a friend then continue to talk to him..... try not calling him, and if you dont hear from him after a couple weeks then move on

no, guys dont feel the need to contact their friends as regularly as girls
if he is telling you that he wants to be friends with you then he is telling the truth, are you calling him back? if not then he will feel that its you who dosnt want to talk to him instead of the other way around

just ignore him, but remain friends... make some new friends that you can hang out with, because you're just wasting time.
