i've heard a lot of bad things about myspace. is there anything similar to it but not as bad as myspace?

I have a my space,nothing bad has happened to me. There is also a site called friendster.com,it's about the same.

Stay off of Myspace. My son just got into some trouble with our local sheriff's department for a blog he posted on MySpace as a joke. They are monitioring that website BIG TIME.

myspace can be bad if you are foolish in revealing personal details of letting just anyone looking at your profile. Other sites i would suggest would be bebo or facebook.
