If you are small framed this is normal ...
Smaller framed women tend to pop out if you will much sooner than a fuller sized woman ...
It is normal nothing to be worried about ..
And when you eat you can really pop out just bloating ... that is also prolly why at the end of the day your a lil poochy nothing to be alarmed about.

I don't think it's a baby bump, not at 8 weeks. The baby weighs approximately half an ounce at 8 weeks gestation. It's far more likely to be water retention at this stage, however many pregnancies you've had previously. This is especially likely as you say the size of your stomach fluctuates according to time of day. Seen as your body loses water overnight and gains during the day, this would explain what you are experiencing. I do agree that with further pregnancies women show earlier, however it's just not possible at 8 weeks. I have only had one pregnancy, but I didn't start showing until thirty weeks plus.
Anyway congratulations on your pregnancy, and if anyone asks, say you are showing. It's better than saying water retention!

It is very possible that you could already be showing. I am pregnant with my 2nd child now and am 6 weeks along and have a pudge. However, when I found out I was pregnant the first time I only weighed 93 pounds and I began to show at like 2 months. This time around I weighed 103 pounds and I only have a little pudge during the day, but I find I am smaller in the morning. I stay hungry during the night too.

i showed a bit earlier with each new pregnancy I've had. the fist pregnancy i didn't show until 7 months. by my last one i was showing around 4 months.
my doc says it's because the muscles in the front of your tummy running downward to your pelvis have been pulled apart in the middle in the last pregnancy and so they kind of flop open again when the baby begins to get bigger. since the elasticity is not as taut as before they have extra give, and make you look pregnant sooner.
my doc told me that muscles that have lost too much elasticity need surgical correction to become as tight as they were before any pregnancy occurred.

You're probably gonna show quicker than a 1st time mom would. I'm experiencing the same thing with my 5th. I'm 9 weeks and I've already had to buy maternity pants. My OB/GYN says that the more kids you have, the sooner you show and the sooner you feel the baby move. Just go ahead and buy a bigger size pants.

dont worry your tummy should be getting bigger.Having a baby is great so dont worry to much. If you are really worried by this then go and talk/see your GP/Doctor or midwife and let them know your concerns.
Congrats.
