Yes you CAN impeach a president for things that aren't considered "treason".
Clinton was impeached on the trumped up charges of perjury and obstruction of justice in the Lewinsky mess in 1998. What Bush has done to this country is far more heinous than Clinton's adulterous wanderings.
Why hasn't anyone moved to impeach Bush? That's the $1,000,000 question.

Ok, you can't just impeach a president because he is hated. You need to prove that he has committed treason or some other crime. We just have to hope the next president we have is much better...like Barrack Obama. Also, one more thing: everyone complains about the president, but how many actually voted (who were 18 and over at the last election)? Voting is the power we have to avoid such presidential idiocy.

Because you can't impeached a president because you don't like their views and ideas. They have to do something illegal or wrong before impeachment is considered.

Well, I know a lot of people who dislike bush. It may seem more people don't like him than the people who do. The reality is just as much people who don't like him actually favor his presidancy. Weird, isn't it?!
