Clone DVD - DVD Copy Software supports all popular DVD-5/DVD-9 discs and multiple copy modes: copy the whole movie, copy main movie only with extras and special features omitted, personalize your DVDs only favorite title/chapter/subtitle/audio remained, you even can custom the target DVD video size to fit your disc.

hi

most dvds are encrypted.

you will need a tool such as dvdshrink or dvddecryptor (use google to find download links) to rip dvds to your hdd as a .iso image. these are freeware.

you will then need a tool to mount them to a virtual drive for playback. for this use alchol120%.. this is not freeware, but if you object to paying the rrp then i guess u could check out the torrents.. but hacked software is illegal and you use it at your own risk....alchol will do it all for you, but i find the other ripping tools have a greater success rate.

to burn them to another disk use infrarecorder.. this is freeware

note the legality of copying dvds even to make a backup is somewhat of a debatable point.
