That sucks, I feel for you. I have a friend that the same thing happened. He's been in pain for ever. I think some of the surgeries have helped a little.

In my personal experience, most chiropractors I have met are totally off their rocker. But what they do could help your back feel better, if you can deal with their loopy cult like ways. I've been twice for very minor injuries and felt much better.
My husband was injured in a wreck and is paralyzed. his pain hasn't gone away, but working out and making the muscles stronger has seemed to help a little.
there are some medications available that can take the edge off but no real answer to the pain.

I'm 6'4 and192lbs, so you're not too tall for me ;-)
But I have a bad back sometimes too, it comes and goes, (I work in new home construction), but it's really low and off to the left side, like right where you can feel that jut in your hip bone, kinda where the dimples are on people who have dimples on their backs. Maybe being tall has something to do with it?

Cannabis helps some with similar pain issues! If you are in an area that has legalized it you may consider this option as it's natural God put it here so you can use it more safely than synthetics and you don't necessarily have to smoke it to get it's effects.

I am sorry, The one thing that helps me when I get pains is yoga,,,,,,,,,, it works good if you have arthritis, and other bone ailments. I like to do my yoga at night, because it makes me sleepy.

You probably do have arthritis. Go see a Chiropractor...find a good one. If he won't adjust you until he has seen your x-rays, he is a good one.

see a chiropractor. Sounds like a problem that doesn't have a home remedy.
