my fire bellied toad has shedded his skin. why?

it was in the water

Because your toad is an AMPHIBIAN and they shed as they grow. Just like you do, only human shed in tiny little bits and toads shed in large sheets. Sounds like your toad is doing OK.

Because he is a reptile and they shed their skin!!!

im not sure ask ur vet . i've had mine for 3 years and they havent sheded
