Yeah, during the summer when I was 10. Most of my friends had gotten it in kindergarten so I don't know where I picked it up. It sucked and was totally itchy. My mom told me not to scratch them but I did anyway. It left scars. 4 on my face because I scratched at them and 3 on my arms and stomach that I didn't scratch at all! The first week is the worst, if I remember correctly. Even though you feel better and it stops itching, the pox are visible for weeks.

Yes, when I was 8...I'm still a little bitter, because I was supposed to do a reading for my communion, but they wouldn't let me, because I was out from practice with chicken pox. A pox on all chickens! LOL

When I was 23 and my twins were 3 months old, we all had them at the same time.......the most miserable I have ever been in my entire life! Def harder on adults than kids.

Yes, and have three scars to prove it: one on my temple, one on abdomen, and one on the left lower leg. The itching is awful and so are the pustules when they rupture-yuck.
