All the other nations within the UK have their own anthem but the English have British National Anthem. What do you think and how could we get it changed and furthermore what would choose as the Nation song?

Welsh, Scotland even Northern Ireland have their own anthem, not the English though.

I am not a traitor to my country. It just seems that again the English are forfeiting an Identity. Nothing to do with belonging to the Union of which I agree.

I appreciate your point, but cannot give a good answer to the question. What I would say though, is get rid of all the satellites and bring ENGLAND back! God Save the Queen is the most stirring piece of music out there and it's about time we made it England's song again. Once those little farms have to fend for themselves again, they'll soon be begging for our support. And at that point we will allow them to be English subjects, but certainly NOT citizens!
And as that perfect dream will never materialise, let us just settle for Elgar's "March of Pomp and Circumstance" for OUR anthem.

Have Brian May and Queen do "God Save The Queen" and make THAT the UK National Anthem.....bonus points if they already have such a patriotic song with vocals by Freddie Mercury.

Great question, i've been thinking of this for years. The present one is oh soooo dull and uninspiring, whereas the french and the stars and stripes inspire pride. Lets hope Charlie logs on to this site!
