My fiance and I are getting married next year in that time he will be getting deployed about 6 months at a time. I dont want to be lonely, I just want our life to start together. Is it really gonna be that hard to be without him, knowing hes in a horrible place?

yes it is...If you love them and care for them it is. My husband and I recently got married on December 23, 2006 and we were only together for 2 1/2 days afterwards because then he had to leave on deployment to Afghanistan. We always try to keep some kind of communication day after day wether its through email or phone, but still Its very hard for me because I miss him so much and long to be with him.

Regardless of all that, all the pain and bad days you endure missing them are worth it because, heck, if you can live through a deployment and the hardships that come along with it, I think together you can live through mostly anything. Plus them being away helps you appreciate them more and cherish the time you have with them more...

I wish you the best! Remember that Military wifes or gfs are some of the toughest ladies out there...haha.
