I have really enjoyed reading your responses, it is interesting how something as trivial in the grand scheme of things such as the Yankees connect people. I have had fun reading it and thank all that have taken the time, even when it would seem this question does not apply to the responder, to reply. It is amazing people choose to spend time they will never get back responding to items that have no purpose in their lives and offer nothing positivie to the world. (you know who I am responding to) But enough with the "Straw Man" attacks, I have been going through some tough times and I really enjoy this, thanks.

Sorry to copy Mick 7, but mine has to be when I met Mickey Mantle and got an autographed baseball from him. I still have to this day, after all of these years.
My second, when I finally made it to Yankee Stadium. The Yanks lost that day, but it didn't matter, I was in the House that Ruth built , the cathedral of baseball.... the experience was surreal.
These two are the experiences that I treasure the most, being a Yankee fan

Going to Yankee Stadium. Whether they win or lose, it's always a great time. I had the TIME OF MY LIFE at a game at Yankee Stadium, even though they lost 12-2, and I'm a DIE-HARD Yankees fan. It might be because I dont get to the stadium that much. Exciting play-off games are great, whether you are watching it on TV, or actually at the stadium! Any Yankees fan knows that, because the Yankees have been in many many many playoff games!

Every World Series Championship the Yankees win. Also, Don Mattingly's home run in the 1995 A.L.D.S.

We got last minute tickets from a friend of the family to the July 18, 1999 inter league game vs. Montreal. Who would have thought David Cone would throw a "perfect game". Unreal!!

My hubby and his dad are HUGE fans, and they got me really liking them too! I think my favorite moments are Jeter's crazy catches and throws to bases. The way he can reach, run, or jump (or fall into the stands) for a ball and then snap it to the baseman with such amazing accuracy! He's fun to watch-- for that reason, and other reasons... :)
I really like Hideki Matsui too-- he's had some great home run moments!
