Yes, am allergic to demerol and did not know it at the time. At the birth of my son, had to have an emergency c-section. The doctor ordered demerol for the pain. I was shot up with it every fours hours for three days straight and nurses just assumed I would not talk to them because of the effects of the drug. They game me so much demerol that it caused an induced coma for three weeks. Don't want anymore of it.

Yes I have when I was only 17 days old. My two older sisters got a hold of my mom's perfume and wanted me to smell it and some of the perfume went up my nose. Mom said that I turned all purple and nearly died because of it.

Last May I had a heart attack. I didn't know it at the time, so hopped in the car and got to my local doctors. I was promptly 'shipped' off to hospital under 'blue lights'. Am OK now, but read subsequently that over 30% of people don't even make it to the hospital. I think The Grim Reaper came calling, but decided it wasn't yet my time.

Many times, right after my birth. When I was eight, I fell off of the couch and landed on the stairs, head first. when I tripped on a rug in the second grade, and opened my head... Hmmm, when I fell off of my bike, all of those times, along with my scooter. I used to choke on food a lot, so I have become an expert at the self-Himleck manouver.... The several times that I tripped on the stairs, and went down head first.... Nothing by animal, just yet. But I think motor vechicle will be next. Dead at age sixteen, by car.

Three years ago, I had a ectopic miscarriage. My tube ruptured and caused a lot of internal bleeding. I ended up being rushed to the ER and having emergency surgery. I lost a lot of blood. The DR. said that if I would of waited any longer I would of died......

Ya, by shock. NEVER play a game that your person can die in, and you have played it a lot. When i was younger, there was a game i loved to play. I played it all the time, and i almost died, and i had a panic attack. Mostly, like a spaz. I had go to the hospital. I still have panic attacks once in a while. It is so scary!

the closest I ever been to death was when I got my blood drawn when I was dehydrated for 4 days due to an illness.. they say you die inbetween 3-7 days without water. and it's bad to get your blood drawn when in this condition. It was one of the worst pains I ever felt. the headache you get from dehydration is so immense.. It was weird.. I would have given up just about anything for a piece of fruit or a simple gatorade.

Yes. I was going toward the light, I suppose. In my case rising rapidly in the air passing coloured shapes like triangles and circles in bright colours. People who I knew were passing me as I ascended but all around was black. It was not frightening, just very strange and peaceful. I never got into the light because, of course, I survived.
