See "Positively 4th Street"by Bob Dylan. Rumor has it he wrote it to Joan Baez. The legend was that they were pretty tight back in the day's when they were starving artists in Greenwich Village. Then, when he started selling she started talking smack about him, so he wrote the song.
You got a lotta nerve
To say you are my friend
When I was down
You just stood there grinning
You got a lotta nerve
To say you got a helping hand to lend
You just want to be on
The side that's winning
You say I let you down
You know it's not like that
If you're so hurt
Why then don't you show it
You say you lost your faith
But that's not where it's at
You had no faith to lose
And you know it
I know the reason
That you talk behind my back
I used to be among the crowd
You're in with
Do you take me for such a fool
To think I'd make contact
With the one who tries to hide
What he don't know to begin with
You see me on the street
You always act surprised
You say, "How are you?" "Good luck"
But you don't mean it
When you know as well as me
You'd rather see me paralyzed
Why don't you just come out once
And scream it
No, I do not feel that good
When I see the heartbreaks you embrace
If I was a master thief
Perhaps I'd rob them
And now I know you're dissatisfied
With your position and your place
Don't you understand
It's not my problem
I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
And just for that one moment
I could be you
Yes, I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is
To see you

Dear Enemy Lyrics
by The Exies
[ Download Free Lyrics Software featuring The Exies ] [ Send to a friend ]
Youre pretending to be somthing youre not
Youre collecting a head full of rot
Youre self righteous, the butt of the joke
And its a secret,everyone knows
[chorus]
You know you know you know you know it
You show you show you show youve shown it
My dear enemy, backstabbing me
Like a friend to me, like you seem to be
You think i dont see
You backstabbing me
Like a friend to me
My dear enemy
Youre condescending with every word
It makes you happy but what is it worth?
Youre like a virus eating my skin
Its a problem i think its a sin

Jealousy by Paris Hilton. It mentions something about backstabbing in there I think.

Phil Collins, In The Air Tonite
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Oh lord
Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before my friend
But I don't know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off that grin, I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
Oh lord
Well I remember, I remember, don't worry
How could I ever forget, it's the first time
The last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up
No you don't fool me
The hurt doesn't show, but the pain still grows
It's no stranger to you or me
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
But I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it in the air tonight, oh lord
But I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it coming in the air tonight! Oh lord
But I've been waiting for this moment for all my life! Oh lord
I can feel it in the air tonight oh lord!
Oh lord oh lord oh lord
But I've been waiting for this moment for all my life!
Oh no, oh no
I can feel it in the air tonight! Oh lord, lord!
But I've been waiting for this moment for all my life!

Hmmn, I was gonna suggest Blood Money by Bon Jovi but I see that it is not appropriate for what you have in mind.
