When these cars first came out they had ALOT of problem from the transmissions to the motor mounts. Lucky they had a few years to work out the kinks. 2006 is the last year that the Mazda Tribute is produced b/c the CX7 has taken its place. The problem is they a 2 very different cars from the way they look to the way they drive. I personally LOVE the Tribute b/c you get the greathandeling you would with other Mazdas but still have the sporty look instead of the Uppty looking CX7. Also the 2006 warranty is longer than the 2007 warrany. You should get this car for a great price too!!!! Remeber invoice is about 2000.00 less than sticker.

The Tributes did have some problems the first year in 2001 but they corrected them and were good vehicles after that. The tribute rides and handles more like a truck than the CX-7 and CX-9. We just got the CX-9s in about a week ago and they are very very nice. The new updated 2008 Tribute will be out very soon. It looks to be updated nicely. Hope this helps.

Good, but I recommend the CX-7 or CX-9.

The Tribute is a pretty old design, the CX-7 is new for 2006 so at least you'll get the latest technology in the engineering and features.

good cars . i would recommend one. the cx7 isn't that much more advanced. i work on these cars for a living. the only real advantage the cx7 has is it is direct injection and turbocharged.
