You need to plan your time wisely.Write up due dates of assignments. Take small breaks in between doing your home work.If you are watching tv for the sake of it then head to the books.Stay off the computer. If there is any reading involved do it in bed. and have anotebook with you.Spend half the day doing homework and the other half relaxing. If you have any parties or things try and get your homework out of the road so you can use it as areward for finishing homework.

Work fast and more efficiently. Usually the only reason for hw to take you all weekend is because you're talking to friends on aim, checking e-mail, even just listening to music. If that's not the case then chances are you're spending too much time on the little things. Don't. Third thing is sleep. You have to get enough sleep to function efficiently. true 5-6 hours can get you through the day but 8-9 hours can help you focus better for at least 1-2 hour periods. If all else fails, when you're doing something in class that isn't very important or that you already know, don't listen and do your homework.

Kate B, let me tell you it does not get any better. I am a college grad and I would stay up for 36 hours straight with very few naps. The teachers are getting you ready for college. You will thank them later because you taught yourself how to prioritized and multi task. I went through the same thing in high school. You will get through it. You will be exhausted but you will make it. If you need to vent some anger or need a buddy for those late nights drop me a line. I am usually up until about 3 or 4. Hang in there.
I would recommend doing your homework, because if you do not do it the the teacher will give you a bad grade and that will look bad when you are applying to college. You will have a life in college. Good luck. :)

I'm in high school, I do get ALOT of homework, even more than you maybe. Just do it, I always say that I'm going to be rewarded one day for doing it. I try to finish as much as I can during weekends.
Look at my schedual this week:
Monday (tomorrow): Biologie test
Tuesday: Physics test
Wednesday: Math test
Thursday: History test
Friday: English test
+ homework everyday
This going to be a hard week for me! I hope I will be alive at the end of the week.

Way back whem I was in highschool, wegenerally skipped mostof our math homework and bookkeeping if we knew what we weredoing, We just did one question to prove we knew the concepts and put the rest aside. And most of the time, we also didn't do our literature homework, exceptforthe reading, unless we had one of those idiot teachers who insisted we hand all our homework in. When my daughter was in school, she was in an arts program, and generally went to classes from 8 am til 5 pm so they had even less time, they just broke into groups, with one person doing all the written homework in one subject and photocopying it for the others. Just do what you deem necessary, for you, and get on with it.

u seem STRESSED. when your doing your homework, take like 10 minute breaks for every 30 minutes. If you have any other activites, take a break from them for a while, but DO NOT let homework catch up with you.
