What do you think about the book? I LOVED it up to the end, then it threw me a real-ricky!

What did you think about the ending? It left me saying "Crap what now?"!

Do you think this is the first of more books about the same characters? I sure hope so!

OR ... do you think this is a single book? I would be VERY unimpressed if it was a single book.

The only books I have not read of Stephen King's are:
Lisey's Story; Stationary Bike; The Colorado Kid; The Breathing Method; Roadwork; and I have read 3 Dark Tower books but want to read them ALL some day in sequence. I LOVE to swap books too.

It was O.K. I don't think there will be anymore told about the
characters from the story though. I think King's early novels
are a lot better than his last few. You have to finish The Dark Tower. It's the best!!!

Well... Its King's style, to throw you from your chairs in the end. You should get use to his endings, they will be more or less same style in general.

The book was good, it reminded his early works to me. I do prefer his earlier works, those written in 80's and early 90's, and this book definitely reflected that style.

About the next book, I can assure you there will be no new books. Mr King have hundreds of great characters, and he only have them continue in Dark Tower books. (There are some exceptions, The Talisman and The Black House are kind of a serial, but only becouse they are very closely related with Dark Tower saga. Also, Father Callahan from Salem's Lot will appear in Dark Tower saga as well...

So, you should put aside your hopes for a new book of these characters, and start reading his other works.

Having read most of his books, I can recommend you The Stand, one of his best works. It have the same style with The Cell, but even better to read.

If you want any recommendations or talks on about his books, feel free to contact me.

I thought it was the best Stephen King in years. After his wreck.....everything he put out I was really disappointed in. (I've got them all) but this one to me was true Stephen. It totally freaked me out and as I wasnt a huge fan of cell phones b4, Im certainly not now. To me, it ended like he genrally ends his books. Sorry your going to be unimpressed, Im sure it is a single book.
Have you read The Stand? The Talisman (with Peter Straub)? The Dead Zone? IT? those are a few of my favorites by him.

It wasn't one of my favorites, unfortunately. And if you didn't like that ending, please don't read the seventh Dark Tower!
The ending did, at least, offer some hope; but I don't think King will write a sequel to it.
My personal favorite King book is "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon." It's much gentler in tone than much of his other work.

I also liked it, right up until the end. I hope that there will be more of this story, but really... how likely is that?
Read The Stand (if you haven't already) for more King style end of the world trauma! (Although similar feel at the ending!!)
