Agree with Cheryl - once had the misfortune of being in the Canaries in JUly in a 50 degree heatwave - was only dropping to 42 at night - air con a must!

Bit cooler on the spanish coast and the balearics (30 ish) but Cyprus, Greece , the Canaries and Turkey will be very hot.

Going early or late in the season (May or Sept) usually gets you good but not unbearable weather

Malta is great and temperatures are around 40 degrees Celsius in summer and there are great sunny beaches

All the south much too hot for me in mid-summer; even if you do like it hot, make sure your bedroom is air-conditioned!
