I would payoff my immediate families bills & mortages my wife's family too and obviously ours as well. Then I'll invest enough in a educational IRA to put both my kids,myself and my wife through the college of there choice. I would put some away to start a non-profit "for cancer cure research" which I would run and I'd put enough in an interest account to make at least what my current salary is to live off of after my family and I got back from a world tour of traveling non stop untill the rest of the money ran out.

Invest 85 percent of it in real-estate, money market accounts, acquire one or two restaurant franchises, buy my parents and best friend a great home. The other ten percent save for a rainy day.
The other five celebrate like no one has seen since the days of the ancient romans and greeks.

talk to CHarles Shwab or some other well respected business that is full of people that have managed money for a career. I would also sit down and learn from some of my very rich friends. There is a lot to learn. I would learn before i spent it all!!
