Song called "Fancy" by Reba McIntyre. But she didn't do it to get her family money, it is the only way her mother can "help" her to survive. Her mother is dying, she doesn't have a father, the baby gets taken by family services.
Her mother tells her to be nice to the men, they'll be nice to her meaning they will take care of her. In the end one man marries her I believe.

The song is called Fancy. It was first released in the 60's by Bobbie Gentry and re-released in the 90's by Reba McIntyre.
