I was in class one time as my teacher was explaining that the Sun was the closest star to the Earth. Then somebody asked "What is the farthest star away from the Earth?" and I was the only one laughing. What are some other stupid questions?

Why don't they just ask for a plain sundae?

"Why didn't [blank - insert your own disappointment] go my way?" That's the dumbest question. It ignores the obvious fact that the world doesn't revolve around me. It discounts the reasonable hope that God is in control and disappointments are part of a much bigger, much better plan than mine. And it keeps me from gathering up what's left and going on. Wallowing in the stupid question is dumb. Perhaps it's because we are the most indulged generation in the most indulged civilization in all of history!
