Cynthia Voigt is a really good author and if you liked To kill a Mockingbird you will like her. The first book , in a series about a girl called Dicey is called Homecoming. Also The Bean trees by Barbara Kingsolver and its sequel Pigs in Heaven.

Try "Angelhair" by Joseph Noga. The story is a thriller and a hard book to put down once you start reading it. Check out the authors website www.joenoga.com for a free preview of the book. If you like the book then help me spread the word of the book to others. Tell your friends to get it too. Enjoy the read!

If you like the classics (you mentioned "To Kill A Mockingbird" then you might like:

Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, Emma, or any other of Jane Austen's novels

The Scarlett Letter by Nathanial Hawthorne

If you are looking for Teen Fiction, then any of the novels by Sarah Dessen except for "That Summer", but my personal favorites were "This Lullaby" "The Truth About Forever" and "Someone Like You"

If you like light fantasy then:

"Inkheart" and "Inkspell" by Cornelia Funke

His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman

Here are some of my personal favorite novels:

"Where the Heart Is" by Billie Letts

"Secret Life of Bees" and "The Mermaid Chair" by Sue Monk Kidd

"White Fang" and "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London

If you are Christian, you might like to read "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, and any of his other books, I haven't read his other ones yet, but "Mere Christianity" was very intriguing.

Other novels you might enjoy:

"Anywhere But Here"

"A Northern Light"

"Twilight"

I haven't read those 3, but I've heard they are very good... If you want further suggestions, feel free to email me, or if you'd ever like to discuss novels. Hope this helps!
