How do you install an ignition switch for a 1967 Chevy Impala?

When you put the ignition switch in, you have a paper clip pressing in a tiny hole and you turn the key. Do you turn the key to the right or the left? It didn't come with the directions. Please help, I need to know NOW!!

To the right as if the engine was running.

Oh, disconnect the negative battery terminal. Just in case.

Then the tumbler "should" pull out.

You should feel the paper clip go in a little to release the lock pin.
