Can you suggest where to visit? We would like to spend some time in a monastery, visit beijing, shangai,xi'an,maybe a criuse down a river!! We have 3-4weeks available. Can you help?

Rather than tackling the daunting task of roaming China for 3-4 weeks, I'd suggest a more relaxing and pleasant experience of visiting Hong Hong and, then, South East Asia doing Thailand, Vietnam and, perhaps, Singapore. Hong Kong is bustling and exciting with a special Anglo-Chinese culture of its own. Thailand has just about everything to have a spectacular trip, Vietnam has its own distinct character and Singapore is a good, comfortable and layed back place to unwind.
