Im a little bit older than your daughter. When i was that age.. usually we watched a movie and made some crafts. Or, if you live somewhere where its warm outside, have a scavanger hunt outside. If not, if there is snow where you are.. tell the girls to bring winter gear and possibly go sledding or have a snowman making contest or possibly a snowball fight if you allow it. And... plan C would be to go shopping if you live near a mall or dance in the house and film a movie. Those ideas are always fun.

Well watch the girls while playing truth or dare because it could get gross i have found out while playing truth or dare my daughter has been dared to make out with other girls lick toilets oral sex and other sick things Prank calls are not a good idea either because police showed up at one slumber party that their were prank calls. Beware another idea is bake a cake have them decorate it or spas are fun too! Movies are alos good for parties to calm the kids down a good movie is sleepover if you dont care if it has swearing or brief woman nudity in it

Rent a suite in a hotel that has an indoor pool.
Have a pool party in the middle of winter.
My auntie did this for her daughter's 12th, and her friends are still talking about it!
The kids tire themselves out, then go to the room for dessert. Dinner was poolside, pizza of course!
My auntie's friends (the girl's mom's) gave everyone a "mani and a pedi", brought a ton of old makeup for the girls to play with and the girls LOVED it.
The girls took home pool toys and a little grab bag of makeup.
It was about the same price as going to a "party" location, and the mess was the hotel's problem.

I object 10 and 11 =)

I'm not, nor have I ever been, a 12 year old girl but I would think that she/they may not want a mom there to intervene too much.

Not to say that you don't chaperon the event or that you don't sponsor an awesome breakfast =)

...meh.. screw it.. this question is out of my league.

God bless

Keep in touch with your daughter. But usually most slumber party ideas come when the group is actually in session so be ready to be the butler. It will make the coolest mom but makes you pretty much a slave. On the upside it gives you a great excuse to keep an eye on things.

play truth or dare, make up a version of it, like on the Brady bunch that time, Heres another idea, Rent old movies The kind that we had when we were 12 years old, And set up the V.C.R, I think they would get a kick out of watching, Corvette Summer, Or Grease, Or Sgt pepper, Stuff like that, Well thats my generation anyways, Well you get the idea,

well im 16 but i'll tell you what me and my friends did last week, we all got in the back of a pick up truck and drove around doing fun stuff like, we drove to our school and took the sign(you probably shouldnt do that one) then we went to dominos and ate pizza, then we went bowling and played pool, then we went to movie gallery and rented some movies and went back to my house and watched 2 movies then ate microwave dinners, then we watched another movie and went to sleep when we woke up(around noon) we watched another movie and then we went to the mall and ate at the food court and walked around and bought some stuff and then we went home and watched some more movies and then everyone went home
