What sport exacting are you referring to? Swimming? Diving?
I swam year-round for about 13 years now and I've never used/heard the terms "wet" and "dry" season, but I am assuming you might be referring to wet season being the actual competition season..and dry season to be the off months. Let us know! :)

like the wet season as in where it rains for like two months straight and the dry season where it does not rain for a long time??? need more info... do not understand what you are asking.
