At 58 years old in 1965, he pitched 3 innings for the Kansas City Athletics in a game he started. He allowed 1 hit and struck out 1 and walked noone. Amazing

His last season in the majors not including 1965 was 1953.

His last game was for a minor league team. He pitched for the Carolina League Peninsula Pilots. In 1966 during the first inning he gave up 2 runs. In the second he threw a scoreless inning. That was the last inning he ever pitched in organized ball. Don't know the actual score of the game.
