Ultimately it doesnt matter what subjects you do in your education unless you are looking to do something career wise with specific requirements. Its the education itself that is important.
What is important is that, the more you enjoy it, the better you are likely to do so make sure you have chosen the one you really want.
They are both decent subjects that will serve you well so I wouldnt worry either way and you can always learn about the other in the future anyway.

It depends a lot on what you want to do in the future and if you have a better aptitude for one of the subjects over the other. I was advised to study Business Studies and drop History for my final exams at school which I did and then regretted because I love History but found Business Studies dull. When I went to university I took up History again and got my 2:1 degree with it. Technically it doesn't qualify you as anything but it leaves so many possibilities open for postgraduate courses if you're not sure what you want to do. Go for whatever subject interests you most - you'll be more likely to get a higher grade and enjoy what you're doing.

Its all a matter of opinion, its about what you like. At your age you probably dont know what you want to do yet anyway, you have years to decide, so dont worry. At school I would have wanted neither. But now, at 26, I would definately have chosen history. I hate business studies Im not wired up for that. But if you imagine yourself doing accountancy or any sort of business thing in the future it will help you get into college. History would have its uses, maybe for politics, art, stuff like that. But like I say dont worry too much just yet, plenty time.

I did both at school and both were equally boring for me personally. I would think business studies would prob be more useful but so could history its all dependent on wot u want 2 do in the future. A qualification in history is useful in showing that u can evaluate and analyse information and also compile reports/essays based on past information. But i suppose Business Studies is a bit more up-to-date and more to do with the world at the moment.

For your career prospects Business Studies - for knowledge of the world - History..
I took both when I was at school and found BS very very boring but it did apply to the workplace.. History on the other hand is so interesting..
Imagine if you woke up tomorrow with amnesia and could not remember anything about your life so far.. people who do not know anything about history are like that in relation to where as human beings we stand in the great scheme of things..
Good luck whatever you choose and don't stress too much.

If I were you I would have chosen History, just for the skills it represents. History students have a wide range of skills employers seek such as the ability to analyse sources. The head of organisations and companies are more likely to have a History degree than any other degree [Fact]. I know you are only chosing it for high school though.

Business Studies. You can be a receptionist, secretary, telephonist or any office-related occupation. If you'd taken history, you might only be able to get a job in a museum or a library, which can be quite boring, as it doesn't give you an opportunity to further your prospects later on.

i ought to really recommend cutting-edge history because it has a tendency to frequently scale more effective than business business enterprise study and cutting-edge will change into really exciting in year 12. also, my business business enterprise study exam for trials and HSC i did about 20 pages of writing for each exam it truly is fairly painful as you would imagine. cutting-edge has a great number of writing also yet business business enterprise may be rather not ordinary with the copious volume words you ought to undergo in ideas etc. desire that enables somewhat.

Business is always useful. History is great to know and share but the job prospects are not as broad as Buisness. You made a good choice.
