is it okay to paint a tortioses nails?? i love my tortiose and i want him to be beautful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why do you want a male tortoise to be beautiful I would want my male tortoise to be hansom
don't paint your tortoise nails because of the chemicals in the nail polish so don't paint your tortoise nails so no its not safe.

There are a few reasons this is not a good idea, but the biggest is that it is not a good idea to handle a tortoise too much- it stresses them out. They also don't like people messing with their toes.

Other concerns would include physical problems with the paints or paint remover, and the 'rightness' of decorating pets in general.

A well-loved tortoise is one who is happy, has a great home, and is not being overly stressed by people messing with them in odd ways they don't understand.

sure. It won't hurt her. SHe might try to eat t hem though. I have a tortoise that always trys to eat my nails when they are painted red. Probably because they look like little tomatoes or strawberries lol. Just pick a color that she normally doesn't eat.

I would think so, I painted my iguanas nails pink for years and still do. Everyone loves it, a she could care less.

I used to paint my Box Turtle Foxx's nails. It didn't hurt her and she loved the attention.

i wouldnt do it all the chemicals that are in nail polish cant be good for a turtle... but if u must make sure that it is non-toxic

i don't know, but we do it, and my friend did it to her dog and it was fine but you should ask your local vet.
