The meaning of the song is that some people are given second chances at life. The hooker was the only one to survive the accident. Listen to the lyrics. The preacher held the bloodstaind bible up and gave it to a women who then gave it to her son. The woman that he gave the bible too was the hooker.

"It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it's what you leave behind you when you go." That verse tells you that in this world, the important thing in life is to do something worth remembering, that you can leave behind you on this earth when you go to Heaven. Do something memorable that could change your life or the life of someone else. The farmer left his faith and his love for growing things to his son. The teacher left an education for all the children she taught. The preacher saved many people spiritually, even the hooker. Don't do anything against God. Like the hooker did. Also, everyone who was on that bus died, except for the hooker. The second preacher is the hooker's son. She didn't die. She was given a second chance in life because she was saved.
