The seal is fixed to the sliding door that moves and not the static door?? hope this makes sense?

I had the same problem and either use baby oil wiped on with a tissue of one of the scented oils you can use in the bath . Just wipe a little on and redo regularly.

It usually is not the seal that is squeaking but the sliding area that holds the door on the track. If I am picturing the right design of your sliding shower door, you lift it and untrack it from the top... try some WD-40 on it. If I am not in the right ballpark, sorry. Try asking someone at Home Depot or Lowe's....They know this stuff well...
