Best Answer - Chosen by Asker Suede it very tricky to deal with and really needs careful looking after from day 1. Wet cleaning is not normally recommended as the surface of suede is open and all it will do is absorb the cleaner along with any dirt and draw the dirt further in. The best things to use are a suede brush which will help lift the nap and then if you use a nubuck cloth this will clean anything on the surface. Stains which are already in the leather will be impossible to remove. You should also use a good waterproof protector which will help cleaning in future
