Eat healthy and exercise; even if you just walk for 20 minutes.
Stop drinking colas. I lost 8 pounds over three months after I stopped drinking Pepsi and started drinking iced tea instead. I lessened my sugar intake that way. I went down one pant size.
Drink plenty of water daily (6-8 glasses). Some of this can be iced tea.

Excercise is the healthiest way. But you could try a diet. Like the south beach.

Limit your unhealthy carb and calorie intake. Make sure you are eating no later than 8pm. Don't skip breakfast. Drink lots of water.
