Hi. My name is Pete, and I live in Cincinnati's Madisonville neighborhood.

I am very sorry to hear about your son. I understand that it can be very difficult for someone with a felony conviction to get a job. I have some information that may be of use to you.

I spoke with someone a couple of weeks ago who does this sort of work on a regular basis. He works for the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission. He told me that there are two important ways to address this problem: helping the person get job readiness skills and helping him connect with employers that are ready to take a chance on someone with a criminal record. The man I spoke to is an excellent resource for people in your son's situation. I don't feel comfortable posting his name and phone number here on a webpage, but if you would please contact me by e-mail (pete_asman at yahoo dot com), I'll help you get in touch with him.

I sincerely hope to hear from you soon.
