For one, there is a lot of fighting in the NHL. (correcting Cashese) For two, Crosby would get his lunch feed to him if he ever took a run at Ovie. Ovechkin is tough, he isnt affriad to use the body, Crosby doesnt like to hit as much. We have already seen that Ovechkin can fight... Crosby has yet to throw a punch. Ovechkin is stronger than Crosby and also more disaplind. Dont git me wrong, Crosby is a great hockey player, he scores some great goals, as well as Ovechkin, but he isnt a fighter... Ovechkin is the complete package, crosby would lose. It is unfortunate though, that they will not fight eachother, unless something big happeneds on the ice while there out there, the managers of both the Caps and the Penguins dont want these two superstars.... the future of the NHL fighting/getting injured. (which is exactly what would happen to Crosby if he tried fighting Ovie)

A fist fight? Have I been transported back to the 1920s? Well, in a fight you gotta figure Ovechkin would come flying and hit Crosby with a combination of jabs and uppercuts. Crosby is a scrapper though but he has shown he's a bleeder. I say Ovechkin in a 10-second decision.

This is a tough one. I would have to say Crosby and here is why...
Ovechkin grew up playing a style of hockey that is more demanding of skill and speed and focuses less of the toughness aspect of the game. Also, fighting is frowned upon in most of the international and European competition so he is less experienced.
Crosby, on the other hand, grew up playing in a game of survival of the fittest. As a North American hockey player you don't just walk onto teams because you have some skill. You also have to prove you can take care of yourself. Crosby has done this plenty of times. While he is not a fighter, he often defended himself in the QMJHL against many team enforcers and held his own or won.
No doubt, it would be a great scrap, they're both stronger than people think and tough as nails.

Ron Maclean mentioned during todays Habs vs Pens game the fact that Crosby can squat 500 lbs, and that he has a lot of upper body strength, So I think Ovechkin would go down like a house of cards.

Fight would easily go to Ovechkin, like common have you ever seen this guy up close he's HUGE! I have to admit crosby has mad skill on the ice, but i can't see him taking down the big O with the gloves off.

Ovechkin would end Crosby. Ovechkin is way bigger than Crosby and Crosby is pretty shrimpy. Although Crosby is the better hockey player

Ovechekin would punch Crosby 30-40 strait times in the face without Crosby being able to get a punch off. They would have to take Crosby by ambulance to deal with the Concussion and broken nose , orbital fractures and about 175 stitches he would need. A good fight would be Crosby vs Nicole Ritchie or Paris Hilton.

Well, even though Crosby hasn't fought alot this year, he would hands down destroy Ovechkin...Maybe this is because I'm a Pens fan vs. the Capitals anyday...but hes just so tough and i think he'd kill anybody personally.

Thats like asking who would win in a fight Mike Tyson or Bill Gates... Ovechkin would erase the loudmouth kid Crosby. Don't get me wrong, Crosby is a great player, but he would get plastered.
