It seems unfair, like there is something wrong with being thin. I guess there is, if you get that way in an unhealthy way. But a model should present a look that is attractive to her audience. Old masters painted larger-bodied models because that was in favor then. If dress buyers are more likely to buy a dress if they see it modeled by a skinny girl, then that's who the designers should employ.

I don't necessarily think they should ban them, since some are naturally skinny. However; I do oppose them having a set weight and dimensions for the model to meet. There are a number of styles available that compliment the physical structure of the body. Doesn't the fashion world rely on a seamstress? Why not modify the clothes to fit the body rather than the other way around. Personally, I believe the modeling world should be more realistic and present the real thing. What happened to that marketing campaign from a couple years back, where the larger ladies donned undergarments and flaunted their beauty? That has to be one of the best marketing campaigns in years.

I think that skinny models need to eat. There needs to be more models that have meat on there bones. Tyra is a good example of a good model. She may be retired, but she portrays a good image to young girls.

the conventional human being is merely too fat. the actuality regrettably is that outfits do look a lot more effective putting from a skeleton. the kind marketplace is contained in the business business enterprise of promoting clothing and could no longer do pleased with its designs stretched over a barrel of lard bowling down the catwalk. those fashions truthfully inspire fat-assed women human beings to devour a lot less.

I don't think it is right what people say. You say these skinny girls make other women feel inferior and self concious, then in return you all critique them, doing the same except intentionally.

But I do think we need to be able to look at healthy girls as the image of beauty♥
