absolutely. she is a lady through and through! she always insisted that we(her children) used our best manners and proper grammar. she to this day, often has classical music playing softly in her home. she is a lover of books, and has a great fondness for england. she has a collection of beatrix potter books and memorabilia, and has many times over the years, gathered young girls from the neighborhood, or visited elementary classes of her grandchildren to host a tea party!( if she is able, she requests that they "dress" for the occassion) she will usually read then, a lovely beatrix potter story to the little ones in attendance.
she is one in a million... and i am so glad she is mine. xox

my mother was a beautiful loving and graciuos woman. she belonged to the pta, she voluntered to make refreshments for all my school functions (she made cakes professionally) she had style and grace, i was truly blessed to have her in my life.

Yes she taught us that we should all get along at home because our home was our sanctuary, a refuge from the world. She had good morals and fine manners and taught us to respect ourselves. She encouraged us girls to seek careers and be independent before we got married.
