What's your ultimate goal? If your goal is to get to the NFL, than you pick the one with the program that will let your football skills shine.

If you're trying to hedge your bets, the answer is still highly dependent on the individual schools in question. But yes, the Big Ten overall is probably the best conference for both football and academics together.

I sure wouldn't shoot down Florida or about half of the Pac-10 schools if they were offering scholarships though.
