hi, i have a lenovo 3000 c100 and it has currently 512 or so of ram, and lenovos site offers at max 1 gig, but if any one knows of a company (like hp or dell) that would have a memory upgrade for it. if therre isnt any please dont recomend a better laptop, i feel fine with mine.

RAM is RAM is RAM, as long as you make sure it's compatible with the machine you can buy RAM from any company you want. Run the system scanner on the Crucial site and it'll tell you what type of RAM you need, then you can source it from any supplier you want.

so that you know laptops aren't like pc's. you can't just change the ram as easily as you think. in most cases is best to just junk your old lap top and get a new one because it would cost more to have a lap top opened up and played with than it would to buy the ram itself.

Just look for notebook ram at any computer or electronics store.
