Interesting question. I have 13 tattoos, 5 of which are on my left forearm. I broke the 6 figure threshold last year. I am not in a "corporate" type of job though. I, suppose it depends on the field you work in. My wife is a nurse, so she has to cover her tattoos because exposed tats are not allowed. I am a refrigeration technician, so it really doesn't matter. Tattoos and piercings don't make you a bad person, nor should they imply that you engage in dangerous activities. If you overlook a person solely because they have tattoos for the un-tattooed person, you could be making a big corporate mistake.

Yes, no matter how much I'd like to say it would not. I have done alot of hiring for my company which is a large corporation and can tell you that I would try to overlook the way a person looks but for certain positions, there is a certain "corporate" look that most companies go for.
Depending on the type of job that person is looking for, it could really be a hinderance. In some jobs, it might give them an advantage but I don't really know what those jobs would be.

Yeah, those big shot bosses would be down on them, except if you're trying for a job in a tattoo parlor.

I think that would depend on the type of job you are trying to get.

I wouldn't hire someone that's full of them.
It implies a certain "eff you" attitude that is not appropriate in business.
