I get keyboard for 50 a month, but thats a 45 minut lesson, so, yeah, thats a good deal.

It's not an outrageous fee, no.

It couldn't hurt to ask if you could arrange for lessons on a less frequent basis, after a while.

In the beginning, you'll need a bit of close coaching, to get your technique going correctly.

After that, depending on the difficulty of the particular lesson, it's not uncommon for a student to take more than a week to master a particular chord, technique, style, whatever.

Yup, that's dirt cheap. I charged 25 or 30 5 years ago, and stopped because it didn't pay enough for me.
