With the exception of the Flyers, ANY team in the Eastern Conference. The standings are just that tight. And to all the Habs fans who says that we don't, look at the standings. They're only 3 games back from you, and it's not even trade deadline yet. I wouldn't jump the gun if I were you or else I'd be eating my own foot.

As tremendous because it should be, I do exactly not see this crew contained in the proper 8. right this moment, you would ought to say Boston, Montreal, Washington, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh are in truth locks to make the playoffs. i ought to positioned NYR, NJ as solid possibles, so now you've were given 3-4 communities for one spot. Are they more desirable from very last year? really. have they were given some youthful ones that coach promise? You guess; Kluemin, Grabovski were pleasant surprises, Schenn is a horse, and Wilson has made some adjustments. Can they arrive good? constructive. Fletcher did an rather underrated pastime of clearing cap area, giving Burke room to paintings. At acceptable, they're contained in the bottom end of the second one tier of golf equipment contained in the convention, and don't have a great number of intensity. look on the raft of injuries that Montreal, Washington, or maybe the Flyers have had. The Leafs merely don't have that intensity yet (and it is going to take a pair years of effective drafting to get there). i'm no longer constructive Toskala is a guy that ought to play 70 common season video games, and Joseph, even as a type guy all round, has been abysmal in what few video games he's performed. perchance a a million in 10 probability this year.

Absolutely. The Leafs are 4 points out of 5th place. It's going to come down to the last few games of the season.
The Leafs are playing as well as anyone right now and they have quite a few injuries. Stay tuned.........

No not at all. Even last year when they came "so close" to making the playoffs, they never really starting trying until it became clear they weren't going to make it, and then they starting playing for their contract incentives to make more $$$$$.
