He's my classmate. Nobody knows I'm gay and I'm very straight acting... We talk casually. We're not very close but everything seems fine between us.
He plays basketball. Is that a hint he's not gay? But he acts unnaturally. Like there's more of him that's hidden. I can tell that. he's smart and he's a bit of a serious type but gets really funny when provoked.
I got his number and txted him. And he was like very different. He seem to be very interested like if I say something that seems to be the end of the conversation, he'll say something back. And he even send me some sweet msgs. not very sweet, something like reminding me to eat dinner. I just find it odd, straight guys, don't talk on sms like that on txt.. is it possible he likes me too? help me...

Homosexuality is not where a guy acts like a girl, talks funny, walks different or any of the other million stereotypes. Being Gay means you are attracted to someone of the same sex. Try not to think in stereotypes as they just confuse everyone.
If you are not ready to come out, I would lead the conversation to a movie or a rumor of someone being gay. See where the conversation leads. You have a one in ten chance your friend is gay.
The other idea if you are ready to come out is just to tell him that you are gay. That would give him the opportunity to tell you how he feels.

Just ask him! The worst that can happen is that he's not interested in you in that way. You won't know if you don't ask, and he might be too shy to say so, so the things he's doing could be hints to get you to react. And if that's not the case, then, oh, well. But you should just ask him, "Are you interested in me in more than friendship?" That's the only way to know for sure, if he's not volunteering to show his feelings. If neither of you inquires, then things will just stay the same.

Maybe...I don't think we have enough information to tell. And just because he plays baseball doesn't mean that he isn't into dick. I say give it a little time see where some other text messages go and THEN decide. I think it's still too early to tell right now.

I believe he is interested in you. Sweet messages, that sounds really nice. Like everyone else recommended, you should ask him. I know you are afraid that he might reject you, but think about the nice things might come out if he likes you.

It's hard to say. You'll just have to get to know him better and see where things go. And if they seem to be heading in the right direction, then you'll have to work up your courage and ask him.
