Get rid of it, we already have the NBA which is more physical..

Hockey is the best sport in the world. We shouldn't get rid of hockey, just Gary Bettman. Anyone who bashes hockey just doesn't understand it. Anyone who thinks hockey is less physical that basketball is either brain dead or has never seen a hockey game. (or they're just blowing smoke, and trying to irritate hockey fans)
Try this: empty your piggy bank and get tickets to a hockey game. If you can, get first row seats. Even if it isn't an NHL game, a junior league or NCAA game will do just fine. By the end of the game, you WILL be a fan. In addition you'll probably never watch another NBA game again.
In closing, Hockey IS the coolest game in the world. I'd rather watch a high school game than a NBA or MLB game. Then again, I'd rather watch the NHL draft rather than the Lakers vs the Heat!

Hell yes, hands down. In America we are flooded with the most boring sports, and for some reason they are the most popular. Who wants to see a baseball player scratch their crotch while they stand? Who actually likes sitting through a 4 hr football game when there is a commercial every 20 seconds? Id rather knit a quilt than watch an NFL game. And the most monotonous and boring sport where points don't matter till the last 2 minutes of the game, basketball. How can you call basketball physical? It's a bunch of grown men slapping each other. That is more flamboyant than anything else. No one realizes the fast paced, intensity and physically demanding sport of hockey. Guys play with broken legs, feet, toes, while baseball players go on the DL for 3 weeks with a broken nose, Boohoo!! Do yourself a favor and watch a game with heart, Hockey.

i think that hockey is the greatest game real men play hockey
you have a football player fall on his knee and he needs a trainer.
baseball they hit the wall one and that is a month off
then we have basket ball dam how many players are out right now with a big toe wow but a bandages on it and take a tylenol
and these guy are making how much money
now talk about hockey the least paid sport
they get hit by pucks, fists, sticks, boards, dam they bleed and what they are back out in like five minute
so when you ask me if hockey is the coolest sport i say yes yes yes

no def golf. but i do enjoy watching hockey from the sabres to la even though la is never on tv. hockey night in canada is great because after i watch the sabres game i could just watch the 10pm game which is usually calgary or edmonton or vancover. Hockey is a good sport and we should not get rid of it. Id rather get rid of the NBA which is sooo boring than hockey. NCAA basketball is much better and thats the only basketball we need =]

alright... lets get some things strait... Basketball is the gayest sport invented... people think its more physical?!?!?!? what are you thinking? if you touch someone its a foul. its sooo stupid. anyway... hockey is the coolest and best sport in the world, It takes the most skill so it is just fun to watch. Dont make the mistake of not likeing it because you dont know whats going on, or cant skate.... learn the game... you will love it, i dont care who you are. And for those who dont appreasiate the sport, just know it takes the most skill and the widest veriaty of talent. Stickhandling, shooting(wristshot, snapshoot, slapshot, backhand) deking, dangling, checking, fighting, and many others... all while skating... you cant tell me nor convince me that there is a better sport or a sport that takes more skill or any of that other sh*t
And if any one person got ride of the game, that person better hope they get shot before I get to them...

Hockey Rules! If people took the time to realize the skill it takes to play hockey, they would love it too. Real men playing a real sport instead of running up and down a court or a baseline. (I like football too).

We should keep hockey, but just not expand it in non-hockey markets, like Phoenix and Florida.
We should get rid of the NBA until players start playing defense again.
