I dont want to Jynx The Sabres by saying they will, but They are my favorite team and Ive been pulling for them to win it all for as long as I remember... I hope they can do it. These needs to be their year, there has never been a better oppertunity in the whole history of the franchise. The have 5 players above 20 goals right now, and they have been amazing this year... the key is to be on a hot streak right befor the playoffs. You can have the best team on paper, but the game isnt played on paper, and if a team is in a slump before the playoffs then they dont have a chance. Besides that, next year it will be extremly tough for the Sabres to keep both Briere and Drury due to $$. It is too soon to predict wheather or not they will need to get ride of one... but they are both key players in the Sabres fast aggresive offence, and are both well on their way to 40 goal seasons. Lossing one of them would make it a lot harder for them to win the cup next year, I regret to say, but mabey... hopefally it will not happen. They need to win Lord Stanley's Cup these year... its their best oppertunity as long as everyone stays healthy... and you know what the Great Herb Brooks said, Great Moments are born with Great oppertunity.
And yes, anyone who knows Hockey know Max... and He is a cool guy... funny accient though lol.... he likes tennis too... I guess his sister is a very good tennis player...

Because of the extreme pressure you bandwagon-jumping fans (do you even know what an offside is?) are putting on them, the Sabres will choke and they will choke hard. And there are no teams in NHL history who had the same starting record as Buffalo went on to win the Cup. The closest was the '93 Leafs, and they lost to Gretzky's Kings in the Conference Finals. Keep dreaming.

I believe that the Sabres have an excellent chance of winning the Cup this year (although to tell the truth, they should have won last year, but we wont' go there). And no, I have never met Max Afinogenov.
