Reform is the wrong word. She didn't want to 'reform' slavery as you say, because slavery in all its entirety was wrong. She wanted to abolish it. She was an abolitionist, someone who thought that slavery should be ended completely, so reform was not her goal, but the destruction of the slave order was. If your teacher is the one who phrased that question, you should really send her to wikipedia or some other site or history book so that she can form a question that actually makes sense. Good luck on your paper though.

Go to the Sudan and ask why it is important to reform their oppressive government and you may get your answer about Harriet Tubman.

have you ever examine Uncle Tom's Cabin? that is the position to commence. and that i imagine previous Uncle Tom may make a good interviewee. Harriet Tubman change right into a preacher's daughter who fought hostile to slavery with assistance from hiding her message in her e book. yet she wasn't round in the course of the origins, yet she truthfully pronounced the evil in it.
