I'm doing a report for school about the invasion of Normandy and liberation from a boot's point of view. The facts must be accurate so i'm turning to the Answers community for help. Also, if you can give me the manufacturing process of the boots, that would definately help.

OK, dont go to wikipedia, first of all. it can be changed by n e 1. second, its best to use something like nettrekker or something where all the sources are filtered.

Watch the first 20 minutes of "Saving Private Ryan". I cried buckets when I saw that movie. The landing was so realistic that all that was missing in the movie theater was the smell of cordite. If that doesn't help you, watch "The longest Day". It accurately covers the landing on Omaha Beach in Normandy.

Try Wikipedia. I'm a history grad student and I use wikipedia for basic information and then I used www.jstor.com for articles to backup the information.
