If you want to use bottled water, that's great, but it should be spring water, not distilled water. Distilled water has had all of the beneficial minerals removed from the water. Spring water has not. Tap water is fine if you do a proper cycle of the water before adding it to your tank. Letting it sit in an uncapped container for at least 24 hours is fine if you are sure that all your city adds to your drinking water is chlorine. That will evaporate. But, most cities also use chloramine, which does not evaporate. You will need to use a de-chlorinator for that. All aquariums should have on the average of 25% of the water changed once a week at least, depending on the fish load, which for a 10 gallon aquarium, should be a rather small amount. Good luck and have fun!

Use your tap water with declorinating drops. Don't use distilled water as it is way too pure to provide a proper environment for your fish. It can lead to rapid changes in pH, hardness too low, ... a whole host of problems. Just change about 25% of the tank every week and you whould be all set.

I agree with the other tap water answers. But be sure to add the de-chlorinater.

Distilled water can disrupt the cellular properties of fish and reptiles. Don't use it.

I would use the water from the tub(faucet) but you got to make sure the water is the correct temperature for your fish. i think it is easier for you to use the faucet and it is cheaper and takes up less room in your home.
best of luck
Dustin :)
