Sounds like the baby has dropped, but don't go to the hospital until you start having contractions. One day overdue is nothing; most first time moms are overdue by up to 2 weeks!

No, there is no need if your only 1 day overdue...EDD are not 100% accurate so in essence u may not be overdue just yet..I gave birth at 41 weeks and everything was fine..the doctor knows about you and wont forget when u are due..next appt which should be in a week she will check u out and make sure everything is ok..chances are u might even end up a week or 2 overdue..good luck!

For my first pregnancy I went 12 days overdue and had 36 hours of labor. That's extreme so don't let that scare you. But, overdue on the first pregnancy is usual and normal. Sounds like the baby is dropping. I'm right around the corner myself (38 weeks) and am feeling really heavy in the pelvic area too.

Hang in there and you'll make it through. Let nature take its course.

i would wait sweets, just because your "1 day overdue" doesnt mean a thing, some babies dotn come until 42 weeks!!! im sure your dr. wont make you wait that looong, but i would wait it out for a bit more, your due date isnt the day the baby will actually come just an estimation, only 15% of women have there babies on there due date

good luck, im right around the cornor at 35 weeks

Baby will come when baby is ready..He might just be getting ready..Don't worry..You should be seeing your doc 2 times per week now that you are overdue. They will check to make sure baby is still active and doing well!! If the movement decreases then go to the hospital..

No, one day's nothing to worry about. The date is just an estimate based on averages. 2 weeks late your might start to worry but 1 day, forget it. Relax, enjoy your last few days of peace and quiet and make sure your bag is packed.

good luck

The baby is just getting ready.
If you have PAIN or are bleeding, or your water broke, then you can go to the hospital.
You can call the after hours line for advice, but if you don't have contractions, they'll tell you to see your regular doctor during business hours.

If you are worried, call your doctor and see what they say. However, with first time mom's being a few days late is not unusual.

Call your doctor & ask. He or she will tell you if you should go or wait.

your only 1 day late.. but if your period doesn't come and all the sudden your 2 weeks late than go for a test cuz thats when you really could be pregnant.
